I did it! Wow weeeeee!

After a bit of a horrid first proper day working from home, this evening I embarked on my 3rd run of week 9. And I did it with a start to finish distance of a tad over 6k! Never in a million years when I embarked on this journey did I think I could do this. This programme is amazing, even more so now for the emotional and physical benefits in these uncertain times. Anyone thinking of doing this, do it! Anyone having a wobbly time, you can do this! I did! πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ˜€

Absolutely! I know I need to do some consolidation runs and note to self to find out about what this actually means πŸ˜‚ But for tonight I am going to bask in my own glory πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

in reply to Lady-B

A well deserved bask I think lol

I can tell you that 5k to 10k is easier than 0 to 5k; why... because you are a runner now. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ₯‡πŸ†

Thank you! You can do do it. You will have good runs and bad runs and some runs you absolutely struggle with but never regret when they are over. Keep with the programme, it really works πŸ˜€

Well done! Fellow runner.

I first read your post title to mean that you'd just had a wee. (I clearly need more caffeine this morning!)

I was impressed with how you are finding joy in the smaller things of life :D

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Yes it does look like that I had managed a wee! Thank you - at the moment we have to remember we can still take joy from the little things in life. πŸ™‚
