“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Vassos Alexander

Okay, so many of you now may find yourself with a little extra time at home, and what better to do (other than running), than to read a book? 📚 And what better to read than a book about running?!

Vassos is a sports broadcaster and an all round lovely bloke. He also writes charming books about his running exploits. This one is mostly about how he got into running, and he also writes about other well known runners and how they got started. It is an engrossing and entertaining read. 📖

I hope that you are all doing well and that your running is a comfort and much needed mental break from these trying times. Stay well everyone. 😘

He's the co-host with Chris Evans breakfast show, and is sports mad! He started Chris Evans on his own marathon journey to I believe. I'll add that to my reading list! x

😁 And I forgot to add, that if you like this, he has a follow-up called “Running up that Hill”. Hope you are doing well, Mitch. x

Thank you for the tip Sadie-runs. I am familiar with this guy from his work in BBC5 Live, but didn't know about this.

Thanks Sadie, this will go on my list I ordered your recommended The Pants of Perspective online, which arrived Tuesday and I finished reading it yesterday, loved it! It made sense to order 3 more running books at the same time but they haven’t arrived yet and a pair of very flash cycling shorts for OH (in case of disapproval of spend hehe!) 😊
