Hey all. I didn’t post the last run, then got a tummy bug but today finally managed week 8 run 3. Had to slooooow it down because it had been a while but it was fine.

I’m planning to take 1.5 weeks to finish week 9.

Hope everyone is keeping well. Running superpowers to keep those viruses at bay 🤞🤞

I’m hoping to do that same run tomorrow. Have struggled with week 8.

Yes. It’s psychological mostly with me.

With most of us, I’m sure. That’s why I kinda missed the encouraging words.

Weeks 7 8 9 podcasts lack inspiration I think. They are not even different words in each run of each week. It’s down to you at this point so head down and you will get there

Agreed Stella. And maybe the idea is that we get weaned off the encouragement and can keep going without it. Ah well.

I would have liked something different for each run. I bet I’m not alone - running and keeping running are huge achievements for most of us.

But we have each other eh? 👍👍👍

I’m same run as you.. I hated some the music in Week 8 and am glad to move on!! Hopefully I’ll do a park run next Saturday 🏃🏽‍♀️

Music? Ooh what’s that on?

For me it’s just looooong gaps of nothing and then Michael telling me to stop running almost a minute too soon 🤦‍♀️

Well done. You are at a similar point to me. Just about to embark on W8 R2. From week 7 things do get a lot more intense. Yes I agree that the voice overs could do with a little more creativeness but my iTunes keep my mind occupied. I’ve found that taking really deep breaths is vital to making things easier plus hydrating yourself a few hrs before. I’m surprised how well I can run actually. They look daunting when you see the runs but don’t ever seem as bad as you think. In run the Nike Run Club App at the same time as C25K. The last run (Wk8 R1) I actually covered 5k with the walking aswell, which I found most satisfying!!

Well done. All great suggestions. Funnily enough my book was on quite a tricky philosophical concept and it kept my head busy.

I ran first thing with only a few glugs of water and no food as I was running (then walking) to my favourite brunch place, which is four miles away.
