I’ve got part of a song stuck in my head. It’s a comic song about doing something in the park (stop sniggering at the back there !) - picking flowers or something. I thought it might be Monty Python but it doesn’t seem to be and I can’t track it down. Please, someone, put me out of my misery and tell me what it is !

No, that’s definitely not it. I’m thinking anarchic ? Thanks for trying though 😀

I see Buddy’s bid and raise it! Could it be Tom Lehrer’s Poisonings Pigeons in the Park? I’d add a link but haven’t worked out how to do it - but you’ll find it on YouTube if you dare!

That’s IT ! Thanks so much ! No idea why it came to mind while I was running in the park. We have ducks, not pigeons 😄

But it was grim growing up in the early 60's. Everything was in black & white for a start!

All the more reason to put cheerful songs on, I would have thought. Not The Laughing Policeman though - that’s just creepy 😂

Perhaps that's why my wife uses it as the ringtone when I call her?

I think you’d need to check that out with a psychiatrist. Or maybe just ask your wife ? 😄

It’s not about poisoning pigeons in the park is it?
No pigeons were injured in writing this. 😳

How out of date am I with this reply? Embracing my brain tortoise 🐢😃

There is an element of that in it, but I’m not advocating violence to pigeons or any other species. I even rescue wasps myself 😄
