Went out this morning thank goodness. Lashing down now and very windy too. Only managed 20 minutes before pain in ankle /Achilles struck. Going to physio again in February. Hopefully will manage to keep running in 20 minutes stretches till then. Any special exercise ideas I could be doing till then appreciated.

Its rubbish you're still getting pain , I've never had it so don't have any good knowledge of what else to do. Hope you are pain free soon. 🤗🤗

I’m under the physio (not literally I might add) for Achilles Tendinopathy at the moment, and he does quite painful massaging and uses ultrasound on it. He also prescribed daily eccentric heel drops, and also side to side leg swings leaning against wall. He advised me that I could run the C25K type runs but not to ramp it up too significantly, and to leave a minimum of 2 rest days in between runs. I also ice for 20 mins after each run. Things have improved but it’s a slow process I believe. I’d be interested in what your physio says when you see him/her....
