Wk 4 run 1

Wk 4 run 1 done this morning. Certainly felt the huge difference from last week but managed it. Some hip pain which is likely arthritis as I’ve had minor problems with this before. Hoping it doesn’t worsen. But if that’s all I’ve got at 60 then I’m not grumbling. At least 2 days off i reckon and hoping this settles it

Well done ! 👍 I think the step up to the 5 minute run seems daunting, but I managed the first one... and despite my fears about starting running at nearly 70, my hips and knees seem to be surviving. ( fingers crossed! ) good luck to you!

Well done! Some niggles need more time than others and I reassured myself by saying it takes as long as it takes. It’s all progress in the longer term. Good luck!

Never worry about taking two rest days. It always worked for me.
