Well, it was a challenge. I found the first 10 minutes the hardest, and weirdly found that at the end of the 20, I could have just kept going. I resisted though, as I want to follow the plan - it has served me so well up to now.
I remembered to take my inhaler before the run this time, so no breathing problems - I even said a few comments to myself whilst running (like a loon) just to be sure I was at a conversational pace. (I don't think I could have maintained a seriously long monologue, but I could have held my own in a std conversation)
Legs are feeling it a little afterwards - I am 3 hours after the event, and I just want to keep walking around at the moment to make sure they do not seize up.
I know it is not important, being couch to 30minutes, not couch to 5k, but it is quite surprising just how consistent my distances have been over the 5 weeks.... During this course, up to now, I am managing around 4.2km in a set... every time I go out, regardless of how much I am running against how long I am walking.. As the runs get longer, the pace drops a little to keep it possible...interesting, but irrelevant I guess

It's not weird at all that the 1st 10 mins were the hardest and that you felt you could carry on at the end ...
It's perfectly normal to feel that way at the start of any run - it's referred to as the Toxic Tens around these parts. It's your body simply warming up and getting used to the demand for oxygen from your muscles. Think of yourself as a cold car in the morning....
As for feeling like you could have carried on at the end - that simply means that you got your pacing absolutely perfect! Well done
The first 10 minutes are what they call the toxic 10, good run for you today layzellm.
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊 🏃🏾
