Hi all - finally got off the starting line yesterday evening. I've been ready to go since the start of December, but came down with the Dreaded Lurgy, (man flu), which has wiped me out until now.
So yesterday I biked to work (2.5 miles) and back for the first time since the summer, and did the first C25K run in the evening. The run was actually OK, so looking forward to run 2 on Saturday.
I'm 53, weigh far too much, and want to get fit before it is too late. Also I have a toddler grandson who I want to be able to keep up with as he grows.
I've been following RigPig, who started off about the same time I was initially planning to, so will use him for inspiration.
I'll stick to the plan, keep you updated - and will be sure to ask for help if I need it!
