I got into running on 2016 and the his community was instrumental in getting me to running a straight albeit slow 10 k. Change of city and jobs, a pregnancy and a beautiful 4 month old daughter later I'm back seeking support as i re start my running journey! Week 1 run 1 done

Nice that you are back, let me first of all congratulate you a little late on the birth of your now 4 month old daughter. 😊

Well done on restarting C25K with run 1 of week 1, being the second time round you shouldn't find the runs too hard, nevertheless keep to the program and don't run on consecutive days, you knew that anyway. 😊 🏃🏾

Thank you. Definitely not running consecutive days ...thrice a week is going to be hard enough as it is!

Welcome aboard and congratulations. 👍

Make sure you're done your postpartum pelvic floor exercises (speaking from experience).

You know you've come to the right place. Congratulations on your new baby.

As you know just go slow and slower again if needed and remember to drink lots of water per day and not just on run days about 2-3 litres it really helps.

Good luck 😊😊

Oh this was an awesome read thank you! Brought back to mind all the info on dynamic and static stretches I'd read up last time and completely forgotten this time!

Congrats on the birth of your daughter. Only four months and you’ve started Couch?! Very impressive. It’s getting the time away is the hard thing. Well done, wk1d1 is a big deal, physically and mentally.

Oh yes timing it just right is what I'm trying to do ...when she begins a nap! Hoping it works out. Thank you for the encouragement

I’m even more impressed! Nap time is so precious for a bit of head space for mum!

Welcome back, second time for me too, I'm on W3R3 next. Doesn't seem so hard this time, or perhaps I'm just so happy to be back "out there".

Well done for getting started, let us know how it goes.

As Dory might say, "Just keep running, just keep running!"

Welcome back! I started in August when my youngest was just under 4 months. 95% of the runs done at night but just loving being out there and getting some mental downtime! Enjoy 😃
