Nice rainy run but then cleaning shoes

Popped out this morning for a 5K run in the rain. I knew it would be crappy weather this morning but determined to keep going now am back running after the leg op. So, mind over matter "sort of" - when I got up I put my running gear on so I could not shy out of it 🤔. Had a good brekky then let that settle before heading out, fine rain so not too bad but the leaves were piled up and had to be careful as they were mushy and slippy on top of the pavements. Rain got heavier but just ignored and plodded on and had a nice run. Then cleaned my running shoes, stuffed them with paper and put near the radiator ready for next one, bring it on!!!!!

Hope your leg op went well. Great run for you Astra5. I was so glad of the rain yesterday as our streets were like an ice rink and the weather change got me out running 😊

Thanks Buddy34, only a minor op but decided to let it totally heal b4 going out. Fortunately no ice down here just feels cold but wet.

Sure will, I tripped over some acorns on a run in September and have been so careful since.
