W9D1: I just ran 30 minutes for the first time in my life

...I'm just letting that sink in.

I could write here about how the run was tough (and it was!) but I think I'm learning that you have good runs and bad runs and that's just part of it.

But.

Guys.

Me? ME? You talkin' to me?! I ran THIRTY minutes WITHOUT stopping even ONCE?!

*thud*

I'm going to sit in my lounge room and just let this process for a bit.

Happy running.

Congratulations on running 30 minutes for the first time in your life, but to graduate from C25K you must run for 30 minutes, three times, so if you ran on Wednesday, your second 30 minute run will be on Friday and the third one on Sunday, that is the day that you will graduate from C25K

Aaaaand that would be my mistake in the title! I accidentally wrote W9D3 instead of W9D1. Getting much too ahead of myself 😂 I have edited the title, sorry for any confusion!

Thank you!

No confusion, we all get excited on running the first time in 30 minutes, good luck for your graduation run.

It really is one of the best feelings ever! We are so close to the finish 😊

I was going to go in the morning but just wasn't feeling it so I went after work and it was such a good way to finish the day!

I always go in the evening and it certainly puts the worky stuff behind you! Not sure if I would in the ridiculous heat you must be facing! Not very active in the heat myself! So summer will be my test of endurance more than winter! (although it would be nice to have some more light and less rain!) by this time tomorrow🤞🤞

My problem is that I never feel like I have enough time after work. Coming home, getting changed, going out, coming back, stretching, showering and then having to eat dinner and the rest of it just seems too much. I like my early mornings! But it just wasn't going to happen yesterday. I slept through so many alarms 😂 And I didn't think running on little sleep was a good idea!

It's actually not too hot. We will have some scorchers soon once we get really into the warm weather, but it hasn't hit us in full yet. It will, though! And that's when the early mornings for sure will be better than running after work.

I don't know how you survive the cold! I can't handle below about 12° 😂

Well done shrinkingjaz ...amazing isn't it??? And you have loads more amazing runs to come!! Remember that feeling when your run isn't so good and it'll make you get out of that door and go looking for that feeling x

I must remember this! It's easy to forget when you have a bad day or bad run but I'm going to try my best to remember that post-run feeling 😊
