My first 5K park run...success!!

I did it! I loved it! I’m doing again!

What a fab morning. Never ran so much for so long. Can’t believe I did it & looking forward to doing another. I didn’t use the app, I just did it my own way with my friend. Everyone was so supportive & friendly. The couch to 5K has helped me so much, given me so much confidence. I’m on week 5 run 3 & now know I can do it with no worry at all.

Well done.. take it steady and slow as you head into Week 6...and after that the lovely longer runs beckon:)

in reply to Oldfloss

Will do. I’m definitely not interested in going too fast, it’s too exhausting 😁.

Congratulations. Keep up the good work.

Well done! It is quite an achievement. Just run / jog/ walk at a conversational pace. Try to go to parkrun regularly and you'll get to know the other regulars.
