Hi all just a quick update no Parkrun this morning kids have stuff on today and needed the car. However I was up and out before dawn and ran 3.85 miles and my heart rate was 156 the whole way I had a great time felt like I could have ran for miles it was such an easy pace a kinda mediation run. The weather was windy kinda electric leaves blowing about loads of energy no one out just the odd runner giving the nod or the good morning as we passed each other I kinda like this running tribe they're a friendly bunch 😁 Seriously this running thing has changed my life I love it. My VO2 max is finally in the yellow zone after 8 months of this trying to run malarkey and that my friends for me right now is an absolute victory. I have a way to go I need to loose some more weight but I seriously haven't felt this good mentally or physically in 20 years. Love and Light fellow runners and thank you all πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I’m so happy for you Zanzibar that you think like that now because you are a runner and a good runner never let anyone tell you different because you are smashing it. I’m in a running club now best thing I have ever done it’s also the social side which has helped with my mental health it’s fantastic this running malarkey isn’t it πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸπŸ†πŸ₯‡πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ…

Yes it is I agree it really helps with the head stuff. I was thinking of joining a club near me but am a little anxious about it as I was thinking I would have to be very fit. I might look into it again . Thanks Kev your support is much appreciated have good day Happy Running πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘

You are very welcome I’m happy to support you and help you happy running and have fun you have got this but seriously think about joining a club it will improve you parkruns and running in general πŸ˜‰

Zanzibar you don’t have to be very fit to join a running club they have different levels you will either start in beginner which you are to good for you probably will start in a improvers group then you have intermediate then advanced and then advanced advanced. I was anxious but I did it I was anxious at first but you will find that a running club they are really nice people and friendly and they help you improve your running give it a go trust me you will not regret it the best thing I have done and I now have friends to at my club but it is up to you but it will help with your mental health big time. πŸ˜‰πŸ₯‡πŸ…πŸπŸ†πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸŒŸx

Yes you will be fine Zanzibar but only do it when you are ready don’t put pressure on yourself. But you will love it if you do go for it look at the website run together and you put you area or postcode and it will show you the nearest ones near to you happy running πŸ˜‰ some of them are free some are about Β£25 for the year which is very good but it does depend on your area πŸ˜‰

I was like that the first week and now I’m not anxious going to running club I can’t wait to go now apart from yesterday because I knew I was going up a group and I was anxious about that but I enjoyed it it was hard lots of big hills but I was expecting that because it the advanced group but I did it and I was mostly at the back but it was one of the hardest runs they doπŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

Thanks Kev thing is I don't actually live in the UK I am in Ireland. There is one club near me so I will check them out maybe after Christmas I am almost at 7k now so if I am thinking if I can get 10k under my belt I'll feel more confident in joining up. Well done on the run that's amazing you did it hills and all. In a few weeks you'll be flying up them thanks Kev πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

You are very welcome Zanzibar yes once you do get a 10K under your belt you will definitely be more confident and you have got this πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Thank you for that yes I’m really enjoying it I will see how Mondays run goes as I fell on some oil and banged my elbow just a bit cut and badly bruised I was more worried about my jacket but that was fine and the wife got the oil of my tops. Plus it was my elbow I had surgery on so I was a bit worried so I’m getting a headlight and body light as it’s needed as it is very dark and it’s a must as this group does trails so happy running πŸ˜‰πŸ‘
