1) Don’t run 20 mins in a location you don’t know that well (currently on holiday in Cornwall having arrived yesterday evening)
2) Don’t run with the other half who hasn’t run for 16 years then comfortably run a 5k in 28minutes at the end of August
So I didn’t manage 20minutes non stop, more 8minutes most of which was up a steepish hill (and ended up with jelly legs and having to walk even though I thought I had paced myself quite well) but I didn’t give up entirely and decided I will revisit W5R2 on Tuesday and Thursday instead. We will be doing plenty of walking this week so should keep the old legs moving.
The best things were the views, the sound of the sea and glorious sunshine so not all bad and still managed to cover over 4km.
Although I’m a little disappointed as I had such a good W5R2 I am glad I got out and inhaled plenty of sea air. Onwards and upwards...
Happy Sunday all xxx

Count it as a practice run. All good!! You got out there and enjoyed the sea air. Have a fab time and continue as usual! Repeat 5:3 on your own at a slower pace🐌and then onwards and upwards! Well done have a fab holiday!!
I did w3r3 this morning. Lovely sunshine, run along beautiful coastline, but not sure now whether I prefer running after work or in the morning... both are hard! Not sure how next week will go, looks challenging?
