The first run!!

I thought of a thousand reasons why I couldn’t start this programme this morning - feeling tired - daughter coming to visit for the day - wrong shoes - total lack of confidence in myself to do it, and the list went on. Then I did it. I just did it. Now I feel so happy and proud of myself! Maybe I can do this after all?

Great for getting started, just go slow and slower again if needed. Make sure you are drinking plenty water about 2-3 litres per day and not just on run days.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊😊

Of course you can do it- starting is the hardest bit - you did it!!😄

I found it helpful to have my running gear all in one place so I could do “Don’t think, just grab gear & go”. I always planned ahead my running times for the week too, including planned flexibility when needed.

Good luck, if you post how you are doing, we will cheer you on. 😄

Really well done. As I newbie myself, I can truly identify with actually getting out of the door being the hardest part.

What a great feeling when you finish your run though.

Keep coming back to this site for advice and inspiration. The people on here are amazing.

Let us know how your next run goes!
