Well, I'm just here to do a little bragging because I'm feeling pretty proud of myself.

It's 2nd time lucky for me because I actually graduated in 2017 originally, but due to ill-health (specifically gout) I had to give it up. A course of medication and a few lifestyle choices later, I started C25K from scratch again at the beginning of this year and completed it at the end of February. I am happy running 5k 3 or 4 times a week (still takes me around 32 minutes), and today I completed my 100th consolidation run!! Yep, since 1st March I have run over 500km! So as you can imagine, I'm really happy with how the course has changed my life- I'm lighter and healthier and a total running nerd now!!!

So, if you're ever doubting yourself or feel like you've had a particularly poor run and feel like throwing in the towel: please don't. Stick at it- make yourself run. The fantastic people on this forum are overflowing with words of advice, support and encouragement, so utilise it and enjoy the journey. It's changed my life completely and I've grown to love every single run. I'm looking forward to the next one already!!

I was thinking I need to work up to 10k but after pondering your great post I think I to could stop at 5k and slowly clock up targets. Great effort. Love hearing these stories.
