I'm on w3r1 but i keep getting a stitch in the bottom right hand side if my stomach half way through my run and its hard to get rid of. Any advise on how to prevent or get rid of them? Thank you.

Usually a stitch is caused by going too fast . On your next run keep it slow and slower again and it should help. Good luck 😊

There was something in the coaching on the podcast version, pressing into the area with your hand as I recall.

Slow down just a touch, or I sometimes find I get them if I havent had enough water too?... or that may be a coincidence

Yeah I would agree with what everyone else has said, drink plenty of water everyday including rest days and slow it down. Also trying to take deeper breaths while running rather than short shallow breaths has helped me when muscles start getting tense.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and is full of general tips.

Slowing down and taking full deep breaths normally clears a stitch. Good hydration is crucial, but avoid drinking while running.
