Week 2 Run 3

Phew! That was a tough one! Second run I’ve done in the daytime and I’ve struggled with them both! Don’t know why?! Found I had a stitch niggling from the start and generally just didn’t feel great. I think I’ll stick to evening runs 🤣

Did it though! Bring on week 3!

I’m at the same stage as you. However I like to ‘run’ early in the morning so I’m back home for 7am. This allows me to do my normal daily routine.

Slow is good, especially if you have a tendency to stitch. (I know it’s boring to be told - again & again.) Also, it can help to think about form: head up & looking ahead; try not to bounce; arms & hands relaxed as you run; don’t grit your teeth (🤣). Also check that you’re drinking plenty of water especially on those “rest” days. Good luck - you’re getting there! 👏🏼
