Run 1 of Week 3 this morning, and cripes, the moon was still out.
I'm not one for getting up early so a month ago I would never have believed you if you had told me I'd be out running (actually running) in the dark, and even better, managing 3 whole minutes (twice!!) without stopping. I've taken notice of what you have all been saying about "Slow it Down", and yes, you are right, totally works. I am actually enjoying the runs and looking forward to them each time so a big thank you all for your support and wise words so far!
p.s. Any recommendations for a suitable head torch thingy?
And wrap them around the hat. I have one for festivals and it lights you up while also giving a low level light all around you. I find it easier walking with this on than with a head torch because of the background light it gives, rather than a spot type light, and because it lights you up as well it would be safer at night too.
