Wk6R1 downgrade blues

Evening all. Late post due to usual mad hectic family life.

So after the 20 minute slog that was the epic wk5r3 we went back to basics with week 6r1.

Physically i found it tougher than i thought..although that could have been the heavy rain weighing down my clothes. Or maybe it was just my muscles still recovering from the 20 mins the two days before...i dont know..

All i know is. Im sticking with this and the diet is going swimmingly..sure the lads in work look at me amused at the fact i have a tin of tomatoe and basil soup and then scoff the biggest grapefruit ever...but i feel better. Slowly but surely i can see the weight dropping to. Im still on the proverbial wagon to(no alcohol).

Roll on Wk6R2 tomorrow

Wk6 r1 and r2 do feel tougher but just trust the plan and great you're sticking to your health eating. Well done you 😊😊

W6R1 is a tricky run, it catches many people out, and it’s harder that W5R3. Great job beating it. Keep amusing the lads and amazing yourself.

It’s wierd isn’t it, up at the big 2-0 then back down to “steps” as it were! Head fuddler!

But you do get back on track swiftly and you’ll be hammering out 30 before you know it! 👍🏃‍♂️

Massive credit and respect to you re diet and staying on the wagon - both my weaknesses I’m afraid but Mrs D and I are doing Dry October (though I’ll have an exemption for York Whisky Festival!).....won’t be much fun watching the 🏉 🌍 🏆!

Top effort again mate and inspiring stuff re food & drink! Keep pounding those roads and demolishing those grapefruits!

Once you’ve graduated challenge the lads at work to a 5K or Parkrun!
