Soooo I just completed week 5 run 1. Considering I was worried about being able to complete week 4 it feels amazing to be able to do this run. I completed it rather comfortably and even made my last run a 6 minute run instead just to prove I could go longer (beat my brain before it tells me I can’t). Feeling really good but also have a flu that has knocked me for six so just trying to battle that also.
Happy Running guys and gals we have this💪🏼
P.s. someone remind me how positive I was here if I break down with the other two runs 😂😂😂

Great job... even more so with a virus. Rest well and keep drinking. You’re ready for the next two, hopefully the virus won’t get in the way, but if it’s in your chest the best run can be no run. Get well soon and enjoy those runs.
That’s what I’m trying to do. Keep fluids up and just get on with it. If I feel my chest is too tight I will stop but as to right now I’m okay. I can do this 👍🏻
If you are getting out of bed it is probably just a bad cold, but either way give yourself plenty of time to recover before trying to run again. It takes longer to get fit enough for strenuous exercise than it does to get back to daily activities.
