Not run since April 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi everyone,

So I started running whilst on maternity leave after having my second child, and really enjoyed it. I managed to get to week 6, run 1 and then didn’t have time when I went back to work. I’d like to start again but am unsure where to start? I know there is no way I’d manage the start of week 6 but reckon going back to week 1 would be no trouble. Daily, I walk my 10,000 steps running about after my boys. My question is, where do you think I should start again? Thanks for your help 😊

I think the best thing would be to go back to wk1 . Good luck 😊😊

You have nothing to lose by going back to the start and rebuilding your fitness . We all have the ability to do more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increased injury risk. By starting again you will build that adaptation and conditioning.

I have just started the programme again, having not run since March.

Try week 3 and see how you go. I always think that each session is only 30 minutes so if you really want to do it, you’d find that time somehow 💪🏽 Good luck 👌🏽

Go back to the start and if you find it too easy, pick another week and start from there.
