Hello 👋
I’m not new to this running game. Last year I was doing 5k 2/3 times a week and a solid two stone lighter and loving life. How the mighty fall!
Following a small surgery in October, excuses, engagement then Christmas I decided I’d start again in the new year. Then second run in... tragedy. I damaged my “bad ankle”.
I’ve had months of physio therapy, which was only middling to good and I finally feel my ankle is in a place where I can do this again, 8 months later.
It’s not been easy getting back on this bandwagon, but I’m hoping that C25k, it’s slow pace and the lovely Sarah Millican will get me back there!
Today’s run was just gorgeous. I had one of those perfect sun reflecting off the river as you run by it moments. I’m going to hold onto that view because I’m sure it’ll be raining by Thursday! 😂
Sorry for the essay! Hope you all have a great run! 🏃🏻♀️
