W5r2 first runners high 😍!

After feeling a bit crap for missing an extra day between runs, I got my kit on, stuck in my headphones and found a new playlist to get me through my run. Following a slight curse at seeing the 8 min runs, I pretended I hadn’t seen it and started my walk. O.M.G. 4 mins in and Michael is telling me I’m half way through the first run and I’m not even tired! Then in the last 60 seconds of run 2 I even increased my speed the teeniest bit (Michael said I could) and nailed it! Spent my brisk 5 mins cool down grinning at strangers πŸ™ˆ. But I really didn’t care. I’m a runner! The moral of the story is - even if you think u are doing rubbish, just get out there and do your best. Oh and beware of smiling at dodgy looking peopleπŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚πŸ’ͺ.

You’re a convert OWC, no doubt about that! Grinning inanely to yourself, or at strangers, fist pumping (seemingly) out of the blue and uttering a loud β€œyesssss” and not caring who hears are all symptoms. Just wait, you’ll get them all! πŸ˜…

Well done, we surprise ourselves sometimes! Sounds like your extra rest day meant you came back full of energy and raring to go. ☺ πŸ‘Ÿ

That is so great - I am on week 5 too and it is starting to feel so much better - I am really looking forward to being able to do 5k again (I used to run but have been out of the game for a while!).
