We would like to clarify the position of earning your Graduation badge.
To get your badge, you will have completed the full training podcasts and be able to run for 30 min.
It does NOT matter if you cannot run 5 km; you are a graduate after running 30 min for three times.
To ensure that it is fair to everybody, please do not ask for your badge until you have completed Week 9 Run 3.

I completed the program - W9R3 - woohoo!!!! This is the second time I have done the program. I didn't know there was a way to acknowledge completing the first time. I was so enjoying running but I fell off a ladder and broke my leg and 3 ribs. Today all that is behind me and I will not be climbing any more ladders.
I finished the C25K yesterday! Very proud of myself but I do really want to be able to run 5k in 30 mins next, is it best to just keep running 30 mins 3 x a week & gradually try to speed up? Or can we run on more days a week? I feel like I should be able to run 5k in 30 min before moving on to the 10k training. Also, would it be a bad idea to try and do a park run this morning (my last run was yesterday)?
Congratulations and well done, I have been running for nearly six years and I still don’t run every day. The best way to increase speed is with interval training. Week1 Run one is a good one. Redo it with faster running and slower running instead of walking breaks. Also there is a speed podcast that can help.
Thank you Realfoodieclub! I checked the advice elsewhere on the board and quickly realised I was about to make rookie error number 1 so decided against doing the Parkrun. Thanks for the tips about using W1 for interval training & the speed podcast!

Ok, I think I can safely say I've FINALLY reached the stage where I am regularly running for 30 minutes, all be it, on a treadmill in the gym. Does this still count? I've still harbouring this secret dream of doing a 10k, but need to get into the great outdoors first. Well done to those who've completed and to those still at it - keep on keeping on!!
Perhaps I’ve misunderstood something but I’m sure I’ve ‘registered’ on here for my graduate badge? I would really like one! I completed all the C25K and did W9 session 3 last Saturday. Thanks for your help. Centurions.

Hi! I completed couch to 5K last Thursday. Still can't really believe it. I never thought I would be able to do it, but was so determined! I started in January so it has taken me ages, after a couple of setbacks. I still don't enjoy it if I'm honest, and after a few minutes just find it a real slog. I hope this will improve and I'm hopeful that it will. When I started, as what I thought of as a reasonably fit 63 year old, I thought I was going to die after running for 1 minute! My aim now is to get to actually doing 5K and to complete a park run. I need a goal. And, as I usually run on my own so have noone to have a conversation with, to be able to sing along to my music!
What a fantastic programme couch to 5K is. I could never have done it without it (and Sarah Millican). And, although I haven't posted anything on here before, I have found real encouragement from those who have - thanks everyone! OMGC25K
I can’t quite believe it, but I’ve graduated! Great programme and have been recommending to my friends and family. Hubby has just completed his Week 5 Run 3 looking forward to receiving that elusive graduation badge. Thank you so much in advance
Completed the program on 2nd August. Thanks to Laura and her constant encouragement. Did 1 week of consolidation run as well using Week 9 podcasts. I don't think I will be able to run without some constant guidance in my ear.
After 1 week of consolidation runs, I still find the period from around the 10th minute to the 20th minute challenging. At the 15th minute stage, I wonder whether I have it in me to last another 15 mins. Then when I hear that there's only 5 mins left I get a boost of energy and increase my pace.
Oh, by the way, discovered some great music tracks in the podcasts, even though I believe those podcasts were made years ago.
Congratulations and well done, years ago one of the main discussions on the forum about the podcast was about a song called Julia, it was very much a marmite sort of song 😂😂😂.
I finished yesterday, running in the Alps at altitude! Thanks for all the support right the way through. I’ve done this as a post cancer challenge and it may have taken 17 weeks but I am so very proud of myself (and everyone else who has finished). No matter why we started we are all winners!
Me too! I finished a couple of weeks ago but have been so busy only just found time to find out how to graduate. Thanks so much to everyone on here for all the support they unknowingly gave me through their replies to others!
Hi, I graduated on Saturday by doing my local Parkrun! I did 5k in 35 and a half minutes and ran every step. Still can't believe I've done it, off for a consolidation 30min run tomorrow and fully intend to do the Parkrun again very soon.... please can I have my graduate badge? Thank you SewSandy
Can’t believe it. I’ve only gone and graduated! Didn’t think I’d ever reach this milestone but I have. And I feel strong. Haven’t quite done 5k in 30 mins- more like 4.3k but I’m still chuffed. Can I have my badge?!

Hi there, Please can I hit have my graduate badge? I've been running for 30 minutes with the C25k for about 4 weeks now.. I'm up to 36 mins now..I was told about the badge from a thread I've been following. Not sure how this works apols if i've got it wrong
WHoah ! thank you this feels great ..never believed that I could do this when I first started..I really am not the "runner" type ..it has been so liberating ! It's also really good to find this community.. It looks like its going to be really supportive ..regardless of the fact I haven't actually reached the 5k yet but I will get there..only 2k to go..over half way

Amazing, hope the run goes well! I was thinking as I ran this morning that I'd feel a bit of a weirdo walking around the local park at 8am, but running makes me feel like I belong. My silly brain I know, but it's such a lovely thing to feel legitimately there 😊
Hooray. I have completed three 30 minute runs in a week and graduated a few weeks ago. I also finally managed to run parkrun without stopping which takes a bit longer 36 to 43 minutes depending on the week. Woo.
