Oh what a beautiful morning... VRB’s mini meet-up

I had the most lovely run this morning. Oldfloss, who inspired me to run Pwllheli park run last Saturday was kind enough to share a run with me. It was a slow and steady coastal path run out from Criccieth as I am here on holiday.

I don’t have the poetic lyricism that Oldfloss does: my run reports are usually brief and factual, so maybe OF may add a few words... I was a bit under par, not sure why, but it was such a joy to run with a like-minded soul. I usually run alone and I suspect OF had to take it slowly for my super-snail pace, but the speed wasn’t important: the joy of the run and the wonderful company was what made it special. The beautiful scenery on a calm and clear (and warming up rapidly) morning was the icing on the cake!

I hope to be back at Pwllheli on Saturday for the bigger VRB’s meet up, but it rather depends on holiday plans on the day.

Happy days, and happy running x

Thanks You...:)

It really was a beautiful morning..unlike this afternoon with thunder and lightning and torrential rain!

We did have fun and it was a real treat to run with you and share a small part of this lovely running location...You should have told me you felt a bit under par... we could have walked some of it as it did get very warm very quickly!

I had a super time and look forward to another meet up very soon...thank you for giving time out of the family holiday! :) xx

PS...

Hopefully we may get together with TailChaser , Katnap and kittens on Saturday too and anyone else in the area... UnfitNoMore went home this week, otherwise I am sure he would have run with us too! Next time :) xx

OF it turns out I had a quick chat with UNM and little miss UNM at parkrun last Saturday without knowing it was them!! How’s that for a small world?!

It does look lovely out there molly. I think the boot of our car will be filled with running shoes when we drive up. Last year I did one ‘undulating’ run with little kitten but we didn’t run along the coastal paths at all. Looking forward to a completely different experience from home.

Hope you’re feeling better today & fingers crossed we’ll see you Saturday 😀

Thank you. We are tying to pack a lot in this week but I’ll do my best! I was glad of trail shoes last week

I imagine that was a very enjoyable run for both of you Molly. 😊 Although none of us know each other, having shared the C25k journey and chatting on the forums, the magic thread that Tbae talks of draws us together!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday, and that you can make that Parkrun with the other vrb's on Saturday.

Lovely photos!😊xxx

Looks a pretty place to run and nice to be able to share it with someone who shares the same goals. 😀

How wonderful to get to meet and run with Oldfloss (and then to meet the lovely Katnap, Tailchaser and kittens a few days later). What a great holiday!
