I came 3rd

Hi,

Today, having graduated yesterday, I went to London, ‘oh mum shall we do park run’ “what”. So borrowed hockey trainers, normal leggings, borrowed 1/2 marathon T-shirt (felt a fraud) I registered for my 1st Parkrun.

It was chucking it down with rain, Finsbury Park has hills!

I joined in and ran, I ran with lots of others, it was lovely( well it feels like it now I’m dry and having had coffee) I channeled Michael Johnson, ‘You can do This ‘, well I did,mostly walking after 29 mins.

However when I got the results , I came 3RD in my category.

What , 3rd! I should have dug deep!

I am so chuffed! I ran, with others! Yea...

I am RUNNER.
