Congratulations I started in January 2019 and graduated in March 2019 and lost a stone now up to 16lbs. It wasn’t the intention but obviously wasn’t needed. I vary my runs but at present just getting miles in the legs some faster some slower but running to consolidate between 1 and 3 a week next one will be the 32nd consolidation run. Good luck.

To get more speed, it sounds so silly, you need both shorter faster runs and long slow runs for your stamina.

I'm doing a mix of intervals (week 1 podcast is good for this, will sprints for 60 seconds and walks for the 90 seconds), shorter and faster runs (week 5 run 3 is great for this, 20 minutes at a faster pace) and then a long slow run, like you, I'm up to around 40 minutes at the minute but will continue to increase this.
