Haven’t been on here a while as still injured (turns out my hamstring pull is tendonitis and after 8 weeks, 4 weeks of physio & few sports massages & I am still sore even when walking. When I eventually get better, there is no way I’ll manage 3 x 5k a week anymore, so wondering if any of you lovely lot out there have had to go back to start C25K a second time ..& did you find it harder or easier to reach that 30 minutes a second time round ?

Slow steady.. start it again and know what to expect...:)

I am back, yet again after a long time on the IC... torn tibialis posterior tendon :)...

I have repeated bits of C25K previously and it is really helpful.

Just begin again... relax.. follow it steadily and don't rush any bit of it.... you know you can do it and do it you will!

Thanks oldfloss. Still don’t know how long before I can run but I’ve missed it sooooo much. I’ve been volunteering at parkrun just to keep close. Oh good ..I worried if second time around it was harder mentally. Ouch ! How long have you been out ?

My longest was 12 weeks....this time...6 weeks...and it is a pain..I have had quite a bit of time on the IC and mostly because of non running related stuff.. I do up my other exercise.. stamina and strength whenever I am on the IC...keeps me chirpy and keeps everything moving..

But when we can't run..it is horrid!

That’s where I have been going wrong. No other activity. Need to start.

Yes..I'm afraid so...it does pay dividends...after I broke my ribs...non running related really....tripped over a coffee table in the dark..going out for a run..

I used my cross trainer..when the pain had eased..... And my leg strength was really great by the time I got out again😉

Yes I had tendonitis last year, had few months out so had to start again - didn’t go right back to the beginning started week 2, found it ok, almost empowering, wasn’t too difficult. I am currently suffering again so had three weeks out now - it is horrible not being to run, I really sympathise with you both from the pain and not being able to run.
