5K hospice run DID IT...despite all the odds

So this morning I actually completed the 5K run in aid of our hospice with my niece who started C25K with me back in March. I have been suffering from sciatica for the past few weeks and so did think I would have to pull out , but after some intense massage and tons and tons of stretches, and gentle walking to keep my fitness there, suddenly last week the pain eased and went on holiday HURRAY. Thankyou to all the support on here from advice to the caring words from you fellow running friends. I am intending to incorporate all the stretching exercises in my daily routine for sure and it will now become part of my life.
