Day one and I didn’t die

Well, day one is done. I won’t say I smashed it, as I definitely didn’t. But I did it. It was actually a lot tougher than I anticipated. Partly I think, because I chose to run over the marshes, rather than hard ground. But, that said, I did it and I feel proud of myself. Roll on Wednesday 💪🏻🙈

Congratulations, that's the hardest run of C25K, just take it slow and steady, it isn't a competition nor is it a speed trial.

Just go at your own pace and don't be afraid to slow down to ensure you complete the runs.

Well done you! I'm on week 8 now but I definitely remember finding week 1 so hard. I look back at how far I've come. It is an amazing programme. Keep it up. It is hard. Every week I think when am I going to start finding this easy. Easier yes, but not easy. Also the fact that you are being pushed more each time I guess is why I've never found it easy!

It’s a great feeling when you complete the first run. It inspires you to keep going. All the best on your running journey.

MummzieH that's great. When i did Week1 R1, I really wasn't sure I could do the program but like everyone says, just take it steady and go at your own pace. I am only on week 4 but I know my fitness has improved so I just keep up the fantastic work you have started.
