Week 1 Run 2 and I really am going to become boring as I maybe sending a post after every run!
Well it wasn’t any easier tonight but I made it! I keep dreading week 2 as I can’t imagine running more than 60 seconds at a time. I need to stop thinking ahead and get through this week first. I do feel proud that I am pushing myself.

Aww Poppet don’t be disheartened or discouraged. It’s early in the programme for you. A little bit of perseverance goes a long way. Nice and steady and start with a slow pace. The programme does work and we are all here to support you on your running journey. Happy Running 🏃♀️
It isnt boring, its your journey and we are interested. It is natural to look ahead and feel aprehension but be positive and believe in yourself and trust the plan, it is fabulous. Learn to enjoy was a biggie for me. Best of luck and welcome.
Good on you starting C25K, but don't look ahead at future runs, keep and trust the program, on each run put the headphones on, listen to your coach for instructions, he/she will tell you all about the run. Try and keep to the same days of running, that way you will sometime during the week have two non running days
Keep at it PoppetPandy. I felt exactly the same when I first started. Now I can run for 30 minutes!
Slow your pace right down and you’ll find each run much easier. It’s not about speed it’s about building stamina so it doesn’t matter how slow you are.
Never boring PoppetP; we love reading posts! Ignore week 2, it will happen when it happens. Just take each run as it comes, take your time and enjoy what you’ve done so far - you got off the couch and ran!
Hi PoppetPandy!
I am just about to do W2R2 and I have to say that the whole over a minute of running hasn’t been horrible. It just depends on how fast you are running as to if you’ll be able to do the running for W2. Everybody does it at their own pace and it’s not bad if you end up repeating a run from W1 if you aren’t quite ready for W2 when you get there!
I know it has been difficult this week for me to get out for my runs since it’s been constantly raining in Ohio the past several days so I had to put off my runs which I was sad about. I found it a lot easier though to do my run when it is cooler out rather than hot and humid like it was when I did my W1 runs. Wish you luck and don’t worry about posting, it isn’t boring or annoying!
Never boring! We’re all at different stages and it’s really good to share with people who can give advice and so much support. Good luck with your runs 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
Definitely not boring. I didn’t think I would manage when I started but it is amazing to see what your body can actually do.
I’ve just joined here and everyone has been supportive with lots of good words and advice. We done. Keep at it ☺️
we repeated week 1 first time around then took a months break due to illness and started week 1 again and sailed through it you can repeat weeks until you find it comfortable and believe me you will find it comfortable
first run the hardest and it gets more fun
we are on week 3 and i have posted all my runs so post away everyone is so encouraging here it’s great
That's what got me...the feeling of achievement 😊 and the slight improvement each week gave me enthusiasm. Both are a bit addictive and really help you to keep going. I am also boring...my poor son gets a low down of every run as soon as I get home 😂. Good luck x
