Am on hols and have done 2 Week 9 Run 3 consolidation runs having done a week of the same runs last week at home. Running early morning in air con gym same as at home but does running in weather where the outside temp is a lot higher (around low twenties at 08:00 ) really make that much difference? Have really struggled but completed but it felt a lot harder🥵

Running in warm weather
It certainly does make a difference. They say to dress for 10 degrees C warmer than it is to go running, so when it’s 15 it’s mid twenties, after that there’s nowhere to go really, so 25 feels like 35 and you overheat pretty quickly. If you were in they gum with aircon you were running at a different temperature... but you’d been in a warmer one, I’d suspect you’re less hydrated than usual.
You should wear less and maybe carry water. Make sure you hydrate even more so the day before and before the run. Are you wearing a technical running top?
No am wearing a no sleeve vest by Karrimoor not sure if it is specialist or not. Does have ‘run’ written on it though. To be fair am probably drinking more water here than before run at home so still not sure why it is quite a lot more tiring than at home. Maybe some of it is just the change in environment?
