Graduated last week πŸ‘

I graduated last week. J never managed 5k of solid running but I did stick to the programme and happily discoverd that i could run reasonably well for 30 minutes. After a hectic weekend of socialising I had a days leave today. I decided to go for a run and see what i could achieve. After completing my 5 minute warm up walk, I activated my running app and started to run. 45 minutes later I had completed 5.3k. Now I am the first to admit that it was slow and the last km was not very pretty 🀣 but i done it πŸ‘Š so I guess I can run for 5k πŸ‘. Now to set some new goals and find some inspiring music.

Congratulations on graduation, hope you celebrated well. Also congratulations on the first 5k. Be careful though not to add too much too soon, just like C25K demonstrates the best way to reach your goals is to work up to them little by little.

Thanks Debston. Yes it was brilliant because it was a struggle to walk that distance not so long ago. It's amazing what you can achieve if you put aside the inner self doubt. πŸ˜ƒ

Really well done, but like UnfitNoMore I would just add a note of caution. Your runners legs are new and need to gradually increase in strength and stamina, just like during C25k. The path is littered with injured people who just pushed a little too much. Good luck with the next goals :)
