So it’s been a long journey so far... think I started in April. Annoyingly I sprained my ankle a month ago (in a non running incident) so haven’t been able to run. Was worried I’d have to go back to an earlier run but actually I surprised myself and managed it fine.
It helped me so much when Sarah M said the most important thing is not to give up.
This whole experience is teaching me something about myself!
On to week 4.

You’ve got the right attitude, it doesn’t matter how long it takes.
Well done to you for picking up again after the injury. But do daily calf stretches as a sprained ankle can cause the calves to tighten and do some ankle strengthening work.
Btw, it took me six months to get through the programme due to an old ankle injury but that was six years ago and I’m still running 🏃♀️🙂
