9 days and no runs - work, family outings, hobbies, niggly tendonitis has meant missed runs BUT on the positive side it feels SO good getting back out there
Cooler morning but no signs of the torrential downpours we had yesterday! 10 minute walk first so Squiggy could have a sniff about and my muscles warm up. Then off we go down our favourite trail alongside the heritage railway track. It is flat, scenic, sheltered from wind and hot sun. It even has a stream so Squiggy can get a drink I let him run the first/last part off lead but mostly he is on the lead because he could easily get through onto the track or fields. It LOVES it.....the wood pigeons, blackbirds, squirrels and even rabbits add to the excitement and mean I do have to concentrate
Gentle, relaxing pace - just over 6k. This running lark is so brilliant.
A warning to all C25kers - beginners, nearly graduates and graduates…...you might well get addicted!
