Been having a tough few weeks not managed to get out for a run at all! Have the luxury of a night without the kids thanks to lovely sister so what do I do? Go for a run in the pouring rain when I could be taking some much needed chill time obviously. Ok I’ve gone right back to week 1 run 1 but it felt sooooo good to get back out there again. And so proud of myself to have completed it. The first time round I didn’t manage to do that. Haven’t been running since end of March and got as far as week 3 run 1. Before that total non runner. Note to self - must bribe lovely sister to watch my monsters bit more often!! Best way to spend me time. The rain felt like an added bonus.
Wont lie. I’m a bit gutted I could be almost graduated by now but life is life. Doesn’t always go the way you plan. At least I’ve got back out there and started again. Think that’s always the hardest part after a break.
In the words of my kids “onwards and upwards my fellow bananas” (I have no idea what that means it just sounds good. lol)

Well done for starting again! It doesn’t really matter how many attempts you have or how long it takes you can still do this! I’m on my 3rd attempt but now only 2 runs away from graduating. You got this. Good luck and keep posting to let us know how you are getting on.
I'm taking time out as at the end of week 1 I have a groin injury - grrrrr. You are an inspiration to this 60 year old - I will be starting again asap.
Good on you for not giving up. No relax time but you did great. Happy running and “onwards and upwards my fellow bananas” that’s gotta stick 😂 love it.
