Wk 5 run 2 after a week off

So, after a whole week off and an incredibly long day yesterday, I opted to try the next run instead of going back. Surprise surprise I did it, despite not wanting to and feeling meh. Big improvement from not managing a minute at a time! Run 3 is due for Sunday... we'll see what happens, but I'm pretty sure the hurdle is psychological rather than physical.

Also, delicately, is it me or does anyone else need the bathroom right after they run???

Well done for getting out and finding out how well you could do today! I am very impressed with the C25K programme, for me the first few weeks were a bit of work but by the time the 20 mins run came I really enjoyed it. I like the longer runs, and knowing that each one I am breaking my own record! Glad you managed to run today.

yes - I found my 'bathroom' habits became super regular... much more so that before I was running....! Must be a good thing!

Great you did it remember that feeling of when you complete a run . As for the bathroom exercise is supposed to help everything along so it's a good thing 😊😊

Good luck for your Sunday run and you're absolutely right; wk5, run 3 is far more of a psychological battle. You will be fine, you've done all the prep.

My first port of call following a run, is always the loo! 🤣
