Just started week 2 but shins, knees and foot arch killing me! No previous history of this, how can I stop it giving me an excuse to not run?!

I'd recommend a trip to a specialist running shop for gait analysis. They will video you as you run on a treadmill and then suggest the correct type of running shoe (neutral or supportive) to suit you. It is well worth investing in to help you to run pain free.
