Omg it was such a struggle to get out this morning to do my run, I don’t know where I summoned up the willpower at 5am to go out but I did it and it was great. I now have some new running shoes after getting my gait checked last week and I feel these really helped stabilise my knees. Looking forward to week 3 and trying not to think too far ahead because I can’t imagine being able to run for 5 minutes let alone half an hour!
Achey knees and legs tonight!

Aww well done ! I didn’t think I could run for 90 seconds either but today I done 8mins 5walk then another 8 mins ! You will get there ! I’ve never ran since school and even then I hated it and walked most of it ! Keep going we are doing amazing.
Well done, stick at it. I was the same, hasn’t run a step since school many years ago and have just been able to do two 5 min runs which I’d never have thought possible. The programme works!
