So proud of myself right now!

Just completed wk8r2 and did it non stop and feeling fine all the way through, no muscle cramps, no slowing down, just a steady constant pace breathing comfortably. I only covered 3.2k and most likely won’t be running 5k at 9 weeks but who cares, 8 weeks ago I couldn’t run for a bus! 3.2k - that’s 2 miles, I’ll say that again, 2 miles! 😃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I’m 58 and suffered a heart attack 7 years ago, I’m significantly overweight but working on it. If I can do this anyone can! I did check with my GP before I took this on and would advise anyone with health issues to do the same. Slow and steady is definitely the key to success. I have absolutely no doubt that I’ll complete this! 4 runs to completion and I’m loving C25k thanks in no small part to the support I’ve had here. Onwards and upwards...
