Trust in the program...

Well I did it! Nine weeks on and I’ve completed the C25K! I’m amazed at how far I’ve come in the 9 weeks. Reading the posts on here have helped. Especially all the “trust in the program” comments that are on here. I took faith from so many saying it and threw all my trust into it. In for a penny...in for a pound. And here I am...a graduate!!! I’ve had days where I have struggled and days where it felt ok (never easy). Days where I have been screaming inside my head...”jo...come on...tell me I can stop”! Yet because of all of the posts on here I knew that this was all normal...I knew I could finish...I knew I had to have faith. So keep the faith people...if I can do it...you can too!! Now to continue...good days/ bad days/ ok days...I shall go with the flow. I’ve even signed up for Parkrun too because of all I have read in here. That’s my next challenge. Good luck all x

It will come... some longer runs and some short quicker runs will bring 5k pace... but there will be no bigger prize for any of that than you get for running 30 minutes 3 times a week and doing some other exercises alongside. You may go on to gain lots of medals... but the longer happier more able life will always be the biggest.

I totally agree...I will never get any medals! 😂 but look forward to getting a little stronger over time. Thank you

Of course you will... there’s lots of 5k events, there’s raceatyourpace... who knows where you’ll take it. You only ever compete with the previous you.
