Can’t believe I did it. Just 9 weeks ago I couldn’t run for more than 2 mins.

Really feel like I’ve achieved something significant.

However, the last two weeks I’ve struggled to motivate myself to run. In the beginning I wud look forward to it and the rest days I was restless to run. However, not feeling the same way. I had to talk myself into finishing the app. I’m scared, now that I’ve finished I won’t continue. Any advise will help. Thank u.

Go to ParkRun. That’ll keep you motivated. Sign up to a 10k race later in the year 👌🏽

Yay. Well done. You deserve to be so proud of your achievement.

Hope you're celebrating. Park run is a go old idea. Then you can beat your time each week.

Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.

This guide to post C25K running may be helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Consolidate over the next few weeks at 30 minutes/5k until it feels comfortable, not worrying about pace and your body will appreciate not being pushed further and further each week.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Congratulations and well done. To stay motivated it needs to become a habit. So pick 3 days in the week to run for 30 mins or 5K. My days are normally Monday, Wednesday and Parkrun on Saturday. It’s a habit now. If weather is too bad on a Monday I will run on Tuesday instead.

Firstly, congratulations... it is a significant achievement, in fact it’s life changing. Celebrate it well.

The plan is marvellous and by far the best way to get someone running for 30 minutes... and the best advice now is to consolidate for a couple of weeks. After that you may want to take on 10k or maybe you want to go faster for 30 minutes or 5k as your fitness keeps rising. Whatever you choose to do, the plan you follow won’t look like this one... all the runs will be different. I love my long run, but I wouldn’t be as motivated if they were all long runs... my current plan has intervals, short faster runs, long and slow, and a variety of lengths of comfortable runs. I now look at my plan and can look forward to a relaxed run, anticipate the long one or want to bring the fast short one forward (they really are fun) so the variety keeps it interesting... and I think that really helps with the motivation.

I also use the Nike Run Club app for guided runs... having a coach talking to me really helps me run better, and that makes me want to go again... rest days I’m a nightmare!

I hope that you have many years of happy running ahead.
