Hello everyone ... well, it's actally happened - this morning under a blue winter's sky ... Week 9, run 3 completed! The air was chilly and as it was 5 days since my 2nd 30-minute run, I had a nervous first 10 minutes.
To everyone else who is doing the CP-5K programme, trust in yourselves; if a much less than athletic nearly 63-year old can complete it, then you certainly canπ.
This forum and all the support from administrators and members are invaluable too!
Now perhaps the 'hard yards' of consolidation runs and finding a new goal to keep me motivated, begin. I will so miss Laura's podcasts - mostly soothing - but occasionally 'cracking the wip'π.
Lots of luck to everyone!

Congratulations! Consolidation is good, you can even take Laura along with you for it! Celebrate your achievement and take some time deciding where to go next, maybe an event run to train to, maybe 10k, maybe xx minutes over 5k... lots of choices. Enjoy all your future running.
Very many congratulations and thank you for sharing. As I was doing my 90 seconds running today I was musing over how unbelievable it seems that I will be running for 30 minutes by early March. But I trust the programme, as you say. Bring it on!
