Wowzers I did it! First run in the rain too - howโ€™ve I managed that in all these months? (I havenโ€™t gone out in the rain ๐Ÿค— simples!)

Had to make the effort today for graduation run and itโ€™s so much harder first thing in the morning than at 4pm. But I kept plodding and WOO HOO

Those who know me from last year know I did this in April and May but then broke my leg in June so i started from scratch in October and Iโ€™m especially amazed to be able to achieve it again. Hopefully no more breakdancing in the lake

district and I can keep it up this time.

Happy running everyone whichever run you are doing

Oh well done Melsie!! I remember you broke your leg round about when I fractured my ankle. I redid C25k and then started B210k again, then hurt my back, then got a chest infection and sinusitis, then hurt my back again coughing and finally started again in December. Then got a Xmas cough which turned out to be a reaction to my inhalers - now sorted and back to it again. I can run 5 k fairly comfortably most times now but I am just going to concentrate on that and building up strength and stamina again for another month or so before I move on again.

Canโ€™t wait to be back running on the Tarka Trail this summer.

Well I enjoy my running, when Iโ€™m fit, and now Iโ€™m retired I have plenty of time for it. I also look out for stuff to forage on my runs- made elderflower cordial, rosehip cordial, blackberry and apple pies last year and I intend to do more this year. I spotted some nut bushes last year but missed the nuts due to injury.

Yay! MelsieJay, well done on your re-graduation! Enjoy your time stepping up onto the podium again. You have done brilliantly to come back from that broken leg. Good luck with whatever running plans you have now. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ’ช

Thanks OMK. My plan is to only run in the dry so my hair doesnโ€™t get messed and not to break my leg. Otherwise keep plodding!! ๐Ÿ˜‚x

Something broke again? Oh your record! Well done Graduate.

Don't rush to go further, consolidate. And then whatever you want. The easiest way to get to 5K is Parkrun, IMO.
