I just to thank everyone for their support on my earlier post. I’m feeling a lot more positive after all of your encouraging comments. My sister-in-law rang me too (she’s a running coach, but lives too far away to get to her groups). She also reminded me last August I was a 20 a day smoker, 2st 7lb heavier than I am now (still loads to go). Also when I started this I nearly died after 30 seconds as everyone has said, I’ve come too far to give up because I feel I’m not fast enough. Anyone just starting out, don’t do the same as me. Just look back and see how far you’ve come in such a short time. For now I think I’ll go out on my own still, apart from the odd park run thrown in for good measure.
Also I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again....I’ve never come across such a friendly forum on social media before (and I’m a bit of a social media addict!!). Happy running all 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️
