Happy New Year!

I don't post too much but I wanted to wish my fellow runners a Happy New Year. I started in April and graduated in June. I haven't made much progress as such since graduating but I am just very content at the moment to be running 3 times a week, health allowing. I think I have missed about 6 or 7 weeks since beginning due to health and injury but I have kept going back to it which has never happened to me before. I am really pleased about that as I am usually one of life's quitters!! Lol. Maybe I will push myself further next year and maybe I won't.

I look forward to seeing you all on here and thank you for your priceless support along the way! Remember just keep going, no matter what your distance or what your time, it's all good my friends!

Way to go Cheryl! You’ve been running 7 months maintaining what you built... it’s not all about 10k, HM or beyond... it’s all about you being healthy and having the fitness to live longer and do anything you want to do... that’s the gift of running, not stats. You have the base to go further whenever and if ever you choose... if you do, enjoy every step of that journey... if you don’t, happy running!

Happy new year!

That will be a very special day... a good time to look back at where you were and where you’re heading... seeing the differences in your life that it has made and a good cause for celebration... I look forward to reading that post. I’ve been trying to decide if my running anniversary comes in June or July... but I found this place and this plan in July, so I’ve decided June didn’t count, it was just a few practice runs!

Happy New Year to you Cheryl, you and I started and graduated from C25K around the same time in April and June respectively. I ran after a short time on the IC my first full 5k in September and since then I have been running a few short runs, my PB is 32.25 which I ran on October 10. I have ran a few other 5K's usually in a time around 35/37 minutes. 😊 Don't use the Q word here on C25K, there are no quitters.

Well done you! I haven't quite got to 5k yet so that maybe a goal somewhere along the line!
