Today I wasn't at all motivated to run. Normally on run day, I wake up and I'm ready to go and enjoy it. However, yesterday my boyfriend had a medical emergency and we had to visit the A&E department and it's thrown me off a bit.
I did go until 3:15pm and that was after I'd eaten left over Chinese food and brownies. I felt lazy and bloated so I pushed myself to go and although I feel chuffed that I went and finished run 1 of week 6, I'm disappointed in myself for letting yesterday ruin an activity I normally enjoy.
However, on a brighter note, it's done! I ran it and I feel better. Now off for a well deserved bath and I'm even more excited knowing that I'll have finished week 6 this coming Thursday, in time for my new years celebratory trip to Dublin.
