The ‘gait’ to freedom!!!

After 6 months since starting to run my right lower leg started to ache every time I ran. I would rest it for up to a week but sure enough it would come back with a vengeance about 10mins into my run forcing me to turn round and hobble home. Reading posts on here encouraged me to go for a gait analysis. I have been wearing karrimores for the past 6 months but it appears I overpronate and my shoes “apparently” didn’t support me enough. Ppfff ... I though .... they just want me to buy their expensive shoes. However, Christmas loomed and my best friend bought me a pair of Misuno Horizon Wave 2 (a pair of beauties) as recommended from my gait analysis. What can I say!!! Pain free running and a new PB at Park Run!!!! It’s not a con!! Gait analysis is the way forward 😃

Great to hear stlee16, sounds like the perfect Christmas present from your friend. I have also benefited greatly from a gait analysis, it completely changed my running for the better. I too love my Mizunos! 👟 👟

All the best with your running and staying pain free. It sounds like 2019 will be a right little cracker with that new pair of beauties! 😁⚡️
