Welcome 🖐️

Follow the plan, slow and steady and then slow and steady again 🐌.

This place is great for support and advice. Listen to the mentors and read the link's they post.

Keep us posted on your running journey... Both of you 👏 🏃🏃‍♀️

Good luck to you both! 🍀

btw - my lard a**e is now a bit smaller than when I started 😆

Welcome. I had a 30 year rest between runs too 😂

You two can do this... run nice and slowly and build endurance. Enjoy the journey.

I had a fifty year rest, as the others have said, slow and easy, took me a while to adjust and I started in July. Several injuries, nothing serious, but I aim to finish it .

I'm on week 8 and looking forward to finishing and doing the park run, and maybe even a 10k next year! Look at all the advice on this forum, it works!!

So glad to come across you, johnt46 - I thought I was the only one here for months on end while the rest sailed by ! I started at the beginning of September and have just finished week 3 😄 But as everyone says, slow and steady is the way. Welcome to you, Fatnfifty - you can do this too. We’re all right here behind you x
